Blanchard Athlete

My name is Ceciley Blanchard, but my friends and coaches call me Cece.

I LOVE playing volleyball! It's my dream to play in college. This website is a way to help facilitate that. Here, college coaches, family and friends will be informed of my progress.

During the 2011 volleyball season at Madison Academy (M.A.), I started on the varsity team. (I was also a varsity team player at the end of the 2010 season.) Recently, I completed my second year playing club volleyball with the North Alabama Spikers Association (NASA). It was my second  year with a NASA power team. My team earned the Southern Region Volleyball Association's (SVRA) American bid to the 2012 Junior National Championships in Ohio.  It was an exciting experience for me and I learned so much playing at such a high level competition. It is truly something I will NEVER forget! 

When I am not on the volleyball court, I spend my time helping others. I have a heart for children, so I babysit for friends and neighbors often. I also stay busy participating in extracurricular activities at school. I am a leader in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), an anchor club member and I volunteer in the concession stands. I also make time to volunteer at the M.A. Volleyball Clinic annually. There, I am instrumental in introducing young girls to the sport that I love so much. I have had the honor of doing so for 3 years now.

My hobbies are photography, making art projects, watching funny movies and hanging out with family and friends. I also enjoy spending quality time with my dogs Sirr and Ladie.
